Location: Starbase Aira - USS Silor
For days after meeting Kalder in the Mic Mac, she returned to see if she could find him. But each time she entered she realised how happy and calm the servers were and knew that a stony looking Klingon had not visited. Each time she felt crestfallen but she simply ordered lunch, pushed the food around on her plate, drank her juice, paid for the uneaten meal and left. Tri had even typed in his contact information many time in the communication console of her quarters but when it began connecting she had shut it down. When she finally got the information that the Silor had finally docked, she all but grabbed her stuff and tore off the base as though her Starfleet issues were on fire.
She only stopped when she was at the doors to the Silor being asked for clearance. "Here you go Ensign," she gave the woman a smile.
"Welcome to the Obsidian, Lt," the younger woman spoke.
"Thank you," Tri told her and stepped on board her new ship.
She walked onboard and grinned. She knew this class like the back of her hand. After she made sure her things were safely stashed in her quarters, she walked towards the captain's ready room. The ship's halls were strangely deserted but she took nothing off it. When she stepped into the sensor range of the Captain's Ready room the door slid opened effortlessly and she stepped in.
"Lt. Tri Alsa Qira reporting for duty sir," she announced.
"Welcome, Lt. A woman that's punctual," Sebastian smiled. "I like that. Please, have a seat."
Tri smiled at the captain and took the seat he offered. She never expected a Klingon captain but then again she wouldn't know what to expect for they didn’t give her much information on where she was going. This man's wrinkles weren't as deep as Kalder which meant he was mixed with something else.
"Can you tell me your name captain?" Tri wanted to know. "They did not tell me much about the vessel. Well at first they told me I was supposed to be on Starbase Atira. When I arrived here they seemed to have changed their minds and sent me here."
The man laughed. It was a hard, beautiful, masculine sound, "I am terribly sorry for the confusion. Our last officer had to be arrested. It is a long and tiring story. But I am Captain Sebastian Kro'ot."
"It is a pleasure to meet you sir," She accepted his handshake then pushed back into her seat. "If you don't mind me asking, what was the last security officer arrested for?"
"How much time do you have?" Sebastian wrinkled his brows as he peered at her.
"I see, I supposed there is a report as long as my arms put together waiting me in my office?"
He nodded, "the first officer and I have compiled one for you."
"Well sir, if there is nothing else," Tri stood up and straightened her uniform. "I should like to get settled in my quarters and get started on the report."
"No Lt, there is nothing else. If you have any questions..."
"I shall ask them," she bowed her head with a smile.
She walked form the office thinking, "he's no Kalder but a wonderful essence none the less."
